CAL ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Friday    6:30 p.m.
An integral part of each year's convention program, the Annual Business Meeting offers members an opportunity for direct input into the work of the Association.  Agenda items include election of statewide officers and representatives in the odd-numbered districts.
 
22nd ANNUAL PRAYER BREAKFAST
Sunday  7:45 a.m.
An opportunity to gather for fellowship and prayer.  Although the breakfast is complimentary, reservations  are required.

X-Ray Proficiency & Safety for the Chiropractic Assistant
Fall Session:  October 31-Nov.1                 Location:   CAL Office, Baton Rouge
                       November 21-22                    Hours:  1:00-7:00 p.m. on Saturdays
                       December 5-6                                      8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Sundays

According to Louisiana law, only CAs certified in x-ray proficiency and safety are allowed to take x-rays.  This program, which includes a written examination, satisfies the educational component required by law for persons seeking certification in Louisiana. During the three-weekend course, CAs will be exposed to the latest information regarding diagnostic imaging.  Course work will stress operating and safety procedures.  Through the lectures, students will gain practical knowledge in basic anatomy, proper positioning, shielding, patient dosage, processing and quality problems solving techniques.
 
Note:  Students are required to have a Supertech for in-class use.  Supertechs will be available (at cost)             at the seminar.
